Ekati Mine
The Ekati diamond mine is owned and operated by Arctic Canadian Diamond Company, and is located 300km northeast of Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories of Canada, on the traditional territories of the Tłįchǫ people, a Dene First Nations people. "Ekati" in Tłįchǫ means Fat Lake.
Average annual production: ~5M carats.
